This customer was quick to focus on the conservation of resources and the sustainable use of raw materials. groku has been producing containers made of 100% recycled material for this customer in the DIY sector (DIY store) since 2011. The product range consists of containers from 1 litre to 12.5 litres of paint.
The decoration is carried out using the in-mould labelling process. To date, several million containers have been sold and sent for recycling and further reuse. This saves primary raw materials, reduces CO2 emissions and brings us closer to a closed material cycle.

As a long-standing supplier and one of the pioneers in the use of recycled goods, DAW with its well-known brand “Alpina” relies on recycling containers from groku. groku and DAW have several years of experience in the use of recycled goods in large containers - a 15-litre paint bucket, in this case. The buckets are sold in DIY stores under the brand name “Alpina white” and can be easily recognised by their grey appearance. The decoration is carried out using the in-mould labelling process. The container is 100% recyclable.
